100% Syrah
Situated at the top of the Hermitage hill, around the chapel, in a place named the Ermite.
The vines are 80 years old and are on granitic soils which are very poor.
2021 M. Chapoutier L’Ermite Rouge
Deep, opaque garnet hue. Aromas of black fruits and baking spices. On the palate it is powerful and velvety with smoky overtones and a peppery finish.
