It is exclusively sourced from Vinha Maria Teresa, a small plot of centenary vines that inspired its name and which is one of the oldest at Quinta do Crasto. This vineyard plot is located at extremely low altitudes and enjoys excellent sun exposure. Taking advantage of the low yield of these old vines, the Quinta do Crasto winemaking team has managed to make a world class wine that is complex and full of character and that is capable of ageing in the bottle for years to come. Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa has only been produced in the following years: 1998, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015. 2007 witnessed the largest production, 8,001 bottles.
