This wine is made from traditional Douro white grape varieties: Viosinho, Rabigato and Gouveio. Made from the best grapes, this is a fresh and aromatic wine with a modern style. Citrus and asparagus aromas with elegant floral notes are perfectly integrated. Good balance, crisp freshness and a pleasant length.
This wine is made from traditional Douro red grape varieties: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Franca. Unoaked, it is produced to be a fresh, fruity, easy-to-drink wine. Deep ruby in color with very ripe red fruit aromas. Very fruity on the palate, with good structure and light tannins which make it a very pleasant wine.
This wine takes its name from the location of the vineyard from which the grapes come: Douro Superior (Upper Douro). The grapes used to make this wine come from our property Quinta da Cabreira where we have 114 hectares of recently planted vines.
Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port wine is made from a single vintage that is bottled after 4 to 6 years of maturation in large Portuguese oak vats. Quinta do Crasto LBV is dark ruby in colour with red fruit aromas and good concentration and length on the palate. This wine is bottled unfiltered. This allows the wine to maintain its characteristics and evolve throughout the years. Decanting is recommended.
Quinta do Crasto Colheita is an old Tawny produced from a single year with grapes coming exclusively from the oldest vineyards of Quinta do Crasto. It ages in oak casks from the harvest year until it is bottled. This wine is a tribute from the 4th generation of the family to Fernando Moreira d’Almeida, son of the famous Port producer Constantino de Almeida, reflecting his wisdom in the elaboration of Port wines of excellence.
Released only in the finest years, this wine is made with 100% Tinta Roriz. Vivid and deep in color with intense ripe fruit aromas and notes of oak. Soft and round on the palate, very well balanced. A long and lingering finish.
Engaging beginning that leads to a wine of excellent volume, with a solid structure of fresh, compact, finely-textured tannins. Long and lingering to the finish, with a remarkable aromatic explosion of berry fruit in perfect harmony with delicate notes of gum cistus. An engaging, balanced wine, with a great bottle ageing potential.
