Deep garnet red with purple lights in color. Tarry and smoky aromas with notes of raspberry, blackberry, walnut and licorice. On the palate velvety and balanced with a long finish.
The radiant color is reminiscent of rose quartz with gentle hints of blue. The aromas are balanced florals and fruit with cherry blossom, lychee, turmeric, ginger, and white pepper. On the palate it is generous and expansive showing a balance between warm spices such as paprika, Espelette, turmeric and a cooling, minerality.
Aromas of spice, black pepper, cloves and black fruit. On the palate, it is fresh with velvety tannins and finish of ripe black fruits, cedar, concentrated juice and tapenade.
Full and delicious on the palate, followed by notes of citrus, grapefruit and white-fleshed fruit, showing a subtle soft character underpinned by a fine, acidity which adds structure.
Rich and expressive on the nose black currant and blackberry with hints of leather suggest a complex wine which has gracefully aged over time. These aromas, accompanied by perfectly mellow tannins, give way to roundness in the mouthfeel followed by an impressively long finish.
