Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port wine is made from a single vintage that is bottled after 4 to 6 years of maturation in large Portuguese oak vats. Quinta do Crasto LBV is dark ruby in colour with red fruit aromas and good concentration and length on the palate. This wine is bottled unfiltered. This allows the wine to maintain its characteristics and evolve throughout the years. Decanting is recommended.
Quinta do Crasto Colheita is an old Tawny produced from a single year with grapes coming exclusively from the oldest vineyards of Quinta do Crasto. It ages in oak casks from the harvest year until it is bottled. This wine is a tribute from the 4th generation of the family to Fernando Moreira d’Almeida, son of the famous Port producer Constantino de Almeida, reflecting his wisdom in the elaboration of Port wines of excellence.
Canelli is the most prestigious area for Moscato. Here this white and aromatic grape has been cultivated since the 13th century. Moncalvina perfectly illustrates to the world the beauty of this small, traditional area as these beautiful hills.
The grapes used to make our Vintage Ports come from our best old vines. They are then foot trodden in old stone tanks called “lagares”. Our Vintage Ports are bottled unfiltered after maturing for two years in large Portuguese oak vats. When young they are usually a very dark ruby in color almost opaque with intense aromas of very ripe fruit. Combining in highly complex wines that have great longevity.
Quinta do Crasto Finest Reserve is a Ruby Reserve Port wine matured for three years on average in large Portuguese oak vats. This is a very elegant, fresh Port wine which provides excellent value for money for a Ruby Port.
