“HONORE” is a very old tawny Port, over 100 years of age, from a very limited number of casks containing wines made before 1918, belonging to Constantino de Almeida’s private stock nurtured during three generations on the quinta.
Golden hues with glints of green with a delicate effervescence in the glass. Aromas of toasted brioche, almond, ripe apricot and fresh peaches with a racy texture and creamy finish on the palate.
Deep, iridescent ruby followed by aromas of rose, cherry blossom, violets, and currant leaf, with notes of black cherry, roasted chestnuts, vanilla, and cocoa. On the palate, flavors of rhubarb, currant, fig, and marzipan with toasty oak notes and, well-integrated tannins.
Aromas of fresh plum with notes of roasted hazelnut and hints of violet. On the palate, a medium body and soft texture mingle with delicate and refined flavors of dark red fruits, tobacco and spice to offer a seamless finish to this elegant and opulent wine.
Brilliant ruby in color with hints of purple. Aromas of concentrated plum, blackberry, and anise. On the palate it is fruity and firm with flavors of cassis, huckleberry, plum, coffee bean and toasty oak.
An elegant nose of freshly baked brioche, rich toasted notes and sun-drenched fruits - mango, apricot and Mirabelle plum - accented by dried fruits, pistachio and almond.
Coral-pink hues with sparkling ruby highlights. Delicate aromas of cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry with hints of fresh violet and rose. Full and rich on the palate with a refreshing finish of ripe raspberries and sweet spices.
