This estate wine is crafted with grapes from our Monte Alto plot. This emblematic single vineyard is the highest and sunniest at Fillaboa and crowns the estate at a height of 150 meters, on a meander of the Miño River, fifty kilometers before it joins the Atlantic Ocean.
Dark ruby colored, it offers a complex bouquet of cloves, cinnamon, tobacco and black cherries. On the palate, layers of ripe red fruits are combined with notes of dark chocolate and slight anise leading to an amazingly long finish.
