Bright and intense, this 100% Nebbiolo wine has beautiful ruby red tones in it youth and garnet shades with bottle aging.  Dry and full-bodied with a pleasent spicy fruit taste, this is an excellent wine!

Piedmont delivers the some of the most distinctive, high-quality, ageable wine of Italy. The most prestigious are the DOCG districts Barolo and Barbaresco, producing Nebbiolo-based wine of the same name.

Most Italian wine experts hail the single-vineyard Barolo Cannubi DOCG as the ultimate definition of a world-class Barolo. While only 10 miles away from its neighboring wine region, Barbaresco, Barolo lacks the maritime influence of the Tanaro River, resulting in wines that are more full-bodied and often require more aging.  Regional regulations require that all standard wines be aged for three years and riservas for five years.

The Borgogno family has been producing wines from Piemonte for over 100 years. Located in the heart of Barolo Valley, the unique soil profile and micro-climate offer signature characteristics that make exceptional wines. These are traditional Piemonte wines made with respect for the past while embracing modern winemaking.
